Gym & Fitness
Our students train and keep fit at the 'Total Body Gym' in the Sports Centre. This is available for their exclusive use during games sessions and also provides them with a sociable and popular leisure activity. The gym is equipped with state of the art air powered resistance and cardiovascular equipment, with digital displays and fingertip controls, in total, more than eighty pieces of modern, easy to use fitness equipment.
Fitness is a games option for 6th form girls who may choose not to play a team sport. It includes a variety of activities such as circuits, yoga and spinning in our RPM room. We are also introducing Boxercise and Zumba from September 2012. It is compulsory for Senior girls to attend their three sessions per week, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday.
