 3rd Form Well-being.

Upon arriving at Wellington, all students embark upon a well-being course that they complete with their Form Tutors in their house groups. The course covers 3 areas, which fit in with the 6 strands of well-being:

1. Living in communities (Positive Relationships): resolving conflict, emotional recognition and management, building trust and empathy, finding and playing to strengths.

2. Developing resilience (Perspective): learning thinking skills to help students to cope with change and bounce back from adversity.

3. Thinking about values (Meaning and Purpose): reflecting on the values we hold and how they affect our behaviour; learning to question our values critically.

This course is complemented by the HYPE drugs education programme and sex and relationships education led by staff from the Medical Centre.

The scheme of work for the 3rd Form course and the resources which accompany it can be found below.
