Transport

This forms a major part of a trip, both financial, in terms of planning and in terms of risk management.

It is important that nothing is paid for until the monies have been gathered in from the parents. At this stage it must be determined how much is refundable in the event of cancellation and parents must be informed of their non-refundable commitment. More details of this are in the finance section.

It is very unlikely that permission will be granted to leave before the end of term or to return after the start of term.

Organisers should factor in the cost of transport to and from airports where relevant

Please ensure that if your trip departs from Wellington before 7.0am, or returns after 10.0pm, that the porters are aware of this.
