Although swimming is mainly a summer term sport, the swimming squad train throughout the year and as a result, they compete at a high standard in a strong fixture list. The swimming team receives professional coaching throughout the Lent (spring)  and Summer terms from Martin Allen.

The College has both an indoor and outdoor pool,  which is also used for water polo, scuba diving classes and for those learning to canoe.
