GCSE Religious Studies.

All GCSE candidates study the excellent AQA Specification B, from which we study two modules: Religion and Morality (Unit 3) and Religious Philosophy and Ultimate Questions (Unit 4). These modules are studied in 4th and 5th Form. These 2 units give students the opportunity to study some of the most fundamental questions in philosophy, religion, morality and ethics; questions such as:

  • The existence of God
  • The origins of the universe
  • The nature of God
  • The problem of evil and suffering
  • Religion and science
  • Medical ethics
  • Euthanasia
  • Crime and punishment
  • Drug abuse
