Fifth Form MYP Philosophy (Humanities)

The fifth form course focuses on three  key Unit Questions:

  • What makes a 'great' mind 'great'?
  • How would you build a perfect world?
  • How can religion be seen as either/both good and bad?

Unit Four - Religion - Religion: Good, Bad, or Neither?

  • Unit Question: How can religion be seen as either/both good and bad?
  • AOI: Human Ingenuity
  • Significant Concept: An investigation into many different religious cultures and their impacts upon modern society




Unit 5: Philosophy - Great Minds

  • Unit question:  What makes a 'great' mind 'great'?
  • AOI: Approaches to learning
  • Significant concept:  An investigation of the greatest philosophical thinkers, considering their ideas and influence

Unit Six - Political Philosophy - Building a Perfect World
