Inter House Lacrosse 2012

Start time: 2:30pm outside Grubbies.

6 a side, no goalkeepers.

A team may consist of a maximum of 10 players (6 players + 4 subs)

Substitutions are unlimited and may be made at any time.

Each house may enter a maximum of 2 teams. (1 team is fine)

Each match will last 10 minutes, split into two 5 minute halves

Goals may only be scored from within the marked zones.

The Competition Format

The teams will be split into 2 groups playing on 2 separate pitches.

Points scoring as follows:
5 points for a win
3 points for a draw
1 bonus point for making half or more of the winning score
0 points for a loss

The top 4 teams (2 teams from each group) will play a semi-final.

The winners of the two semi-finals will play a final to decide the champions.

Other Information

Start time: 2:30pm outside Grubbies.

Sticks will be provided for those players who do not own a stick.

Gum-shields are highly advised.

All English Lacrosse Association rules apply apart from those which refer to goalkeepers.

A briefing of the rules will be given before the competition begins.
