The 3rd Form Insight course comprises a series of innovative lessons which aim to extend pupils beyond the taught curriculum and encourage divergent thinking on a range of issues from astronomy to psychology and philosophy. The course aims to develop and embed transferable cognitive skills relevant to the wider taught curriculum focused on the IB MYP 'Approaches to Learning' and 'Areas of Interaction'. The product of this process will be the development of independent and reflective young minds, capable of making links between the various curriculum subjects whilst developing a greater meta-cognitive intelligence.
