-
If those behind you are playing faster than you, stand aside and wave them to play through.

Anybody caddying, or accompanying golfers for a walk around the course, should be bound by the same rules as golfers as regards attire and noise. In particular, the course should not be used as a playground.
Care of the Course
-
When playing golf, it is unavoidable to take divots on fairways and to make pitchmarks on greens. Indeed, good shots will almost always cause some damage. It is imperative that this is repaired, and quickly. For instance, a pitchmark repaired within 15 minutes will be completely recovered within 48 hours, whereas one left for longer will take several weeks to recover. Divots should not be replaced on teeing grounds, as these will be seeded instead. Bunkers should be raked smooth.
-
No chipping or pitching to the practice putting green. The practice pitching green will be used for this.
-
No practising on the course.
-
No trolleys on tees, greens or aprons. Trolleys should also follow any routing signs.
-
The tees are not set as Medal, Men's and Ladies'. Players should choose to play from the tees which suit their standard. The white tees are the "Back tees", and are suitable for anyone with a handicap of 14 or less. The yellow tees are the "Middle tees", and are suitable for those with a handicap of 24 or less. Beginners and improvers should play initially from the red or forward tees.
-
Dogs are prohibited.
-
Smoking is prohibited.
-
Vehicles should avoid going past Connaught Close to access the course. Vehicles should be parked opposite the stables on the area provided. Gates should not be obstructed and grass verges should not be used.
