IGCSE Language
The iGCSE Language course consists of one written paper which assesses reading and writing skills (Paper 1). This paper counts for 70% of the overall IGCSE.
In addition, candidates will complete two pieces of written coursework (a critical response to Poetry and a Creative Writing piece). These count for 20% of the overall IGCSE.
A Speaking and Listening coursework component (based on both an individual and group task) will count for 10% of the overall IGCSE.

Sometimes 'Disabled' is paired with 'The Last Night' from Sebastian Faulks' novel, 'Chalotte Gray'. You could, of course, read the novel or watch the film to get a sense of the background to the passage, but the following websites will give you some background knowledge of the deportation of the Jews from France during WW2:
