The Kingsley Society

The Kingsley Society was conceived in 2010. Its aim is to build on the natural strengths and unique camaraderie of Wellingtonians and in particular of those who have left in the last 20 years.

Its aims are as follows:

1. To foster stronger relations between young OWs and Wellington
2. To enable those young OWs to use Wellington connections more effectively
3. To allow, and encourage, young OWs to give something back to College, by:

• Perhaps making a small donation of between £5 and £20 per month, to enable one or more pupils to come to Wellington, where otherwise they would not have been able.  200 OWs giving £10 a month, Gift Aided, gives a 100% Bursary to a deserving pupil.
• Giving more current or recent advice to senior pupils about University and Career choices
• Enabling more useful work experience for current pupils
