Now College Couch has become all of that and more. Recordings done in the College's very own recording studio ¨Shabby Road¨ have been posted on a site on the college intranet where pupils can listen to the recorded material. All tracks were recorded by pupils in college taking up the role of producers and studio engineers. We have also been responsible for finding a great deal of hidden talent within college and helping pupils to realize their potential as well as what to do with it.
College Couch has also take on the role of organizing a great deal of events in college. The annual singer songwriter's concert has been given the College Couch brand. On top of that, college couch has been involved in band evenings, and acoustic nights as well as a silent disco and talent evenings.
Although College Couch's success has been short-lived so far, there is increasingly larger potential for development in the future and for College Couch to become a much bigger organisation but we need your help to do so, Don't be afraid to drop any of the College Couch team an email if you want to get involved in any way. If you have a passion for music but don't necessarily play an instrument, that is not a problem, your help is more than appreciate if your keen and willing to help!
There is huge talent at this school and some people might find it quite daunting, but please take up this opportunity to get involved! Theres no harm in trying something new!!
