Enrichment

The Enrichment programme at Wellington is designed to develop all eight aptitudes. With over 50 clubs and societies actively meeting, every student has ample opportunity to broaden their interest- base and learn new skills. The programme is integrated into the broader curriculum with ample time dedicated to Enrichment on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The spectrum of activities on offer range from Noble Rot (Wine appreciation Society) for the Upper 6^th to Junior Bardophile (Shakespeare reading sessions). Most activities such as Yoga, Street Theatre, Karate, Field Gun, Model United Nations, Film Society and Photography cover more than one aptitude. A strong emphasis is also placed on linking raw academic hunger with that of a broad interest base. The result is that academic clubs such as Phil-Thy (Philosophy and Theology), Law Society, Geog Soc or Classics Society attract students from outside their departments too. What is certain is that “we do not do boring at Wellington”.
